Acrew Capital is a venture firm. They wanted two things from the site: founders looking for investment should get in touch, and everyone else should be able to see how much the firm has already backed.
Pact Studio designed it. We built it in Webflow, working directly with Acrew over a few months rather than through the agency, and the job was to get their design system and brand standing up in a browser exactly as drawn. We made design adjustments along the way where the build needed them, but the system was theirs and the work was implementing it faithfully.
The build is mostly static by design. A venture firm's site does not change often, and the parts that do are the news and perspectives, so that is the piece that runs off the CMS and the rest is fixed.
The portfolio page is the one that carries the second goal on its own: a full grid of the companies, Coinbase and Discord and Chime and Gusto among them, each with its exit annotated underneath where there is one.
