"Black Art. Black Stories. Black Voices." was a Yahoo campaign highlighting up and coming Black artists. We worked with RYOT Studios and built the online showcase for it.
The build was Webflow, and each featured artist's page carried 3D and AR elements integrated directly into it rather than sitting off to the side of the work.
The real problem was hosting. Yahoo could not host on Webflow, which would ordinarily mean giving up either the platform or the CMS. We found them a route to export the site and keep it on their own infrastructure while still managing content through the CMS, so the editorial team kept the thing that makes a showcase like this maintainable after launch.
